Paper production at Virginal
Created in 1843 under the name of Papeteries d’Asquempont, the mill at Virginal has had a long tradition of manufacturing paper with high added value.
Virginal has two paper machines. Machine 3, with a width of 2.4m, and its inline coaters, was the first machine in the world to produce CFB carbonless paper in line and is still unique in Europe. Machine 4 with a width of 4.9m, also has coaters and calenders inline. These two paper machines are complementary: one is utilized for its flexibility while the other offers both high capacity and efficiency.
Virginal has a wide range of finishing machines for cutting and packing both reels and sheets giving exceptional flexibility in converting for customers.
